It’s August, and in Tennessee that means it’s BACK TO SCHOOL time! Some of our kids are off to their Senior year of High School and others are leaving their Mommy for the very first time for a full day of Kindergarten (oh, that one killed me both times!) Whether your little one is braving his first day or walking in like the Queen on parade into her last year of Elementary school, you’ll want to capture exactly what they looked like, their favorite things, what they want to be right now when they grow up…every little bit that makes this year so special so you can remember it when they are packing their bags for college and school is just a faded memory.
I LOVE the tradition we have created here at khp for our Back 2 School clients. Many of you return each year to capture your little ones as they grow. And boy, do they grow! The 3 year old that wants to be a dinosaur when he grows up soon becomes the 3rd grader that loves math and science and wants to be an astronaut. The pink loving 4 year old that is just learning to write her name will be beautifully crafting her cursive best as a 4th grader in just a few short years. You know the time flies by, and you also know that school photos and their packages are NOT your favorite purchase of the year. Come to my Back 2 School Mini sessions on Saturday, August 25 and sit back and let them wear whatever they want this year on picture day, because you’ll already have your favorite school pictures in your hands!
The Back 2 School mini session is 10 minutes long and is the perfect amount of time for up to 2 children. Have more? That’s ok, just book back to back sessions so everyone has enough time for their portraits. They can wear their school colors, their uniform, or whatever outfit fits their personality best. There will be some images taken with the desk and some taken on the plain backdrop. This year we will also take a few specifically for black & white portraits. If they have siblings, I will do a simple group picture as well. The session fee is $50 and covers the session and 1 personalized digital file. Additional images will be available for purchase after the session’s gallery has posted.
