FAQs regarding this year’s Mini Sessions:
What are mini sessions? Mini sessions are fun! Mini sessions are a great way to experience custom photography, update your family and children’s individual images and get your holiday gift and card images taken. Typically, a family image and some pull out individual images of your children are taken during the session. Candids and family ‘emotion’ images are not able to be captured during these sessions. Due to our short time together, no pets or extended family are allowed.
Why digital packages? You’ve asked…and I’ve agreed! Most of my clients ask how to purchase images on a cd. Receiving digital images and a print release allow you great gift giving ability, perfect for the holiday season. You will have the ability to take one or more images to an online vendor and create your own holiday card. Prints, wall art and custom cards and products will still be available at a 10% discount for mini session participants.
What is the cost? Pick from 2 packages: $200 for 5 high resolution digital images with print release. $350 for all of the images in your gallery (approximately 10-12) in high resolution with print release. Additional digital files (to the $200 package) are available for $40 for this promtion. You may also purchase prints, cards, wall art and more from the a la carte menu with a 10% discount.
Where will the sessions be held? The sessions will be held on the gorgeous grounds of the private Brentwood Concord House residence. 9580 Concord Road, Brentwood.
How long is my session? Your session is 20 minutes long and will begin promptly at your session time. Sessions are booked back to back so please arrive 5-10 minutes early. There will be no way to extend your session if your session starts late.
What do we wear? Simple fall/holiday wear. The red couch is a great backdrop for your holiday images, and black, gray, cream, brown and navy are great complimentary colors to the red couch. Need some inspiration? Google ‘what to wear wednesdays’ to find lots of coordinating outfit suggestions for the entire family! Due to the time constraint, please do not bring outfit changes. Feel free to bring props to suit your session, such as balloons, lollipops, hats, or anything else that you’d like to have in your images.
What will my images look like? You can choose to have a holiday look or just wear what you would wear to an outdoor session with khp. The grounds are beautiful and provide a beautiful natural setting. The red couch and magnolia tree provide a great holiday background if you prefer that as well. The images on this page were all taken recently at the Concord House in preparation for our mini sessions.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate? Makeup date for the October 9 session is October 10. Makeup date for the November 12 session is November 13.
How to book a session: Click on the ‘contact me’ tab above and request a session. Please include your preferred date and the names and ages of those who will be attending the mini session. Your deposit of $100 reserves your session and sessions will be booked in the order that payment is received. Deposits are not refundable but are transferable.
