Are you ready for one of the sweetest couples EVER? Seriously! Mary and Ryan moved to Nashville last year for Ryan’s work. Fast forward nearly a year and we find them expecting a baby boy in just a few short weeks. As they prepare for that day, we met to capture the sweet moments that happen in the ‘waiting’.

Mary and Ryan, it was my honor to meet with you to capture this time. My phone’s ringer is on! I’m anxiously awaiting the call that says that Eli is coming!

I love everything about being a Mom. And I love all the Moms in my life…mine, my hubby’s and all my friends who are Moms too. We are a cool group of women. the night before they said “i do” | Nashville Wedding Rehearsal Event Photography

Katie & Sam are now a couple of weeks into wedded bliss and their new life together. But just a few weekends ago, they were excited and nervous and praying everything would go off without a hitch (which it did!) I am proud to say that I had a small part in the big weekend of celebration. I was asked by Katie, sister to one of my awesome baby planner families (who is just about to come back to khp when their newest little one arrives!) to capture the rehearsal and ‘after party’ for the Night Before the big day. I was excited to accept, as I adore her whole family!

Katie & Sam had their wedding at Brentwood United Methodist Church, home to many of my original clients. The rehearsal was held in the sanctuary there and then everyone headed to the delicious Mere Bulles for a fun night. Here are some of the highlights of our evening together. Did I mention just how gorgeous this bride is? Well, she is!

I am excited to introduce this cute family to you. We’ve been waiting for months for it to be time…time to do the maternity session as we wait for the newest little fellow in this family to arrive. Don’t worry, you’ll get to see him in about a month or so, if he waits until his due date to arrive. Can you believe this gorgeous mama only has a month to go?! She looks incredible!!

5 year old big sister and her 2 year old little brother were so good. Their mom is a photographer, so I think they are expert models!

The goal for this session was to capture their family, and Mom’s awesome bump, before their little baby boy arrives. I know, as a photographer, it isn’t often that I’m behind the camera. I am honored that Tiana chose me to capture her family during this special time and I can’t wait to see her with her new baby boy on this side of the lens as well.

Rest up, Mama! I can’t wait to meet what is sure to be the next adorable Lee baby. See you soon!

Just a little bit of the goodness from today’s wonderful session with Harper & Knox, just 3 weeks old (and still a week away from their due date!) because I know our family cannot wait. So happy to finally have these babies in the studio. I’ve been waiting ever since my niece announced her pregnancy last year!!

8 days old [newborn] | Nashville Franklin Newborn Studio Photography

Wait until you see the bit of sweetness I got to work with today. My goodness, what a darling little baby boy! Mom and Grandma brought him to see me this morning and he was quite tolerant of all the moving and shaking that goes along with a newborn session. Once we had a little time together, 19 month old newly dubbed ‘big brother’ arrived with Daddy. Isn’t this the cutest little family ever!?! I think I want a family picture of them on my wall!!

Little Levi was almost exactly the same size as Tyler when he was born 4 years ago…and I can hardly believe it. So tiny and precious and new.

Loving my new hat from a girl/boy set I recently purchased from etsy seller Chloe’s Closet (tell her I sent ya!)

Kylee and Dan, your hearts are full, I’m sure, with the blessings of these two adorable little boys. Enjoy these days…for they go by so quickly!

Spring Mini Session | Franklin Brentwood Outdoor Child Custom Photography

I might be tiny bit partial to boys. I’ve always liked them and my house is 100% boy if you don’t include me. I think little girls are adorable and dress to die for and have fun toys but my heart belongs to the boys. So when these two cute ‘young men’ came to me for a mini session, I knew we were going to have some fun. I hope Dad is proud of the great job they did for me! Handsome, funny and well mannered…a killer combination!
